Compost Disposal

The City of Ravenna Compost Disposal Site is located east of town on 370^th Road.  It is opened in the regularly during the spring and summer.  The only acceptable items are leaves, grass, brush, branches, limbs, and garden waste.  No other items are acceptable!

Two City-wide Clean-ups are held every year.  The Spring Clean-up is held in April and the Fall Clean-up is held in October. This is usually on a Saturday from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.  These services are for Ravenna residents only.  At those times, we have curb side pick-up of bagged garden waste, leaves and tree limbs.  At the Disposal Site, there are containers in which we accept household items (mattresses, furniture, carpet, etc.).  No electronics are ever accepted! 

Spring and fall are great times of the year to clean up our properties and beautify our community.
